The Hilton Kuwait Resort, the first integrated business, leisure and lifestyle resort ever built in Kuwait, has reaped a handful of awards at the Annual Hilton International Middle East Asia Pacific Conference in Cairo. Paul Hutton, Hilton Kuwait Resort’s General Manager, received the ‘General Manager of the Year’ award, surpassing 68 other General Managers within the region, before being called up again moments later to collect the ‘Best Hotel Arabian Peninsula’ award.

“The Annual Hilton International Middle East Asia Pacific Conference Awards represent our continued pledge to guest service and satisfaction that each of our hotels strives to provide our valued guests,” said Rudi Jagersbacher, Hilton International’s Vice President, Arabian Peninsula. “The Hilton Kuwait Resort personifies performance excellence in key areas of hospitality and provides a wide variety of strengths and talents that have truly become integral to the success of our business in the region”, he added.

This sea-front resort also earned the ‘Best Finance Department in the Middle East’ award at the Finance Conference held recently in Al Ain. Since its opening two years ago, the Hilton Kuwait Resort has maintained high occupancy rates despite the downturn in tourism which has plagued the region in the past year.

“The entire team at the Hilton Kuwait Resort is extremely pleased to receive these two awards. Each team member has contributed to the success of our distinguished property,” said Hutton. “Receiving these awards reflects our dedication to being the number one upscale resort brand. I applaud and thank all my team members for devoting themselves to achieving this exceptional accomplishment,” he added. (menareport.com)
