Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) recently hosted a group of 120 French resellers in Dubai to help boost sales of FSC products to record levels, beating all top IT vendors operating in the French market.
The incentive trip, hosted by FSC’s International Sales Division based at Dubai Internet City, came as a reward for exceptional performance by the French resellers, reflected in a dramatic growth of 23.9 percent in a sluggish market. The growth has high significance because most major competitors recorded a significant drop in sales in 2002.
During the four-day trip, the French resellers visited Dubai’s landmark attractions such as the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Burj Al-Arab Hotel, the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Mosque, the Gold Souq, the spice souq and many shopping malls.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers outperformed all IT vendors in the French market, including many international top players. Six of the competitors recorded a negative growth, while three registered sales increase of between three and 11 percent.
