With June's temperatures beginning to soar, a delegation of French dignitaries visited Zamil Air Conditioners in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
President of the Franco Arab Chamber of Commerce and former French ambassador to many countries Serge Boidevaix led a group that also included France’s ambassador to the Kingdom Bernard Poletti, and Commercial adviser to the French embassy, Francis Bouquin.
The visitors were greeted by President of Al-Zamil & Brothers Group Sheikh Hamad Abdulla Al Zamil, who led them on a tour of the plant, where they also received a briefing on the business.
The dignitaries also visited another sector of the ZIIC group, Zamil Steel Industries. They were welcomed by the general manager of international sales, Nawaf M. Al-Zamil, who showed the guests around the site and briefed them on the company’s activities.
Zamil Air Conditioners is an international manufacturer of consumer and commercial air conditioning products. Founded in 1974, the business today has sales operations in over 55 countries across the Middle East, Europe, America, Africa, Australia and the Far East.
Zamil Air Conditioners is part of Zamil Industrial Investment Company (ZIIC), a joint stock company listed on the Saudi Equity Market. Th eCompany (ZIIC) was established in 1998 following the consolidation of three major industrial activities of the Al Zamil Group - Zamil Air Conditioners, Zamil Steel Industries and Zamil Glass Industries. A joint stock company was formed with a capital of SR 300 million. The company shares have been traded on the Saudi Equity Market since February 2002.
