The Emirates Telecommunication Company, Etisalat, has signed a strategic agreement with ASP Gulf company, to launch a new service throughout the region, offering companies computer software through the Internet.
According to Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal magazine, the service targets those companies that have encountered difficulties with computer programming in the past, as well as companies which usually prefer to assign this task to professional enterprises, such as Etisalat.
The newly emerging business of online computer programming services has been attracting the attention of many, and numerous companies have already showed interest in subscribing to such programming services.
According to this report, Etisalat has predicted that the value of this sector will grow from $3 billion in 2000 to $25 billion by 2003. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
