In a groundbreaking achievement in the field of reconstructive microsurgery in Lebanon and the Levant, the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) successfully conducted the first proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint reconstruction surgery on a damaged ring finger.
