Dubai International (DI), a subsidiary of Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) has won a Dh 2 billion contract to develop Port Kalang in Malaysia (PKFZ). The deal which comes in less than a month since DI launched its Djibouti Free Zone falls under a 15-year management contract, WAM reported.
The Malaysian Government is investing $520 million (Dh 2 billion) to develop a Free Zone in a total area of 405 hectare, accommodating industrial and commercial activity in collaboration with Jebel Ali International. The project will be ready within two years. (menareport.com)
