Captaris, a provider of business information delivery solutions, has announced two deals signed at GITEX 2003; one with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) and the other with MTC Vodafone in Bahrain.
With the Captaris CallXpress voice mail and RightFax fax server, employees at PDO will be able to receive their voice mail and fax messages over their Email system, which in this case is Microsoft Outlook. In this manner, employees can access their voice mail, fax and email system in one unified location whether they are in the office or on the road. This Captaris solution will be implemented by Solutions Middle East, the regional distributor for Captaris.
The Captaris solution will allow faxes to be electronically delivered to each employee at MTC Vodafone Bahrain. This will be of particular use to the new call center that is running on a Cisco IP Telephony solution, as agents would be able to communicate by fax or email as much as they can communicate by voice About Captaris.
