ALBAWABA - In a recording obtained by The Wall Street Journal, Microsoft co-founder and billionaire Bill Gates admitted that he had two affairs and apologized to his Foundation staff for having ties with the late sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
The billionaire insisted that he didn't partake in Epstein's disturbing crimes. However, Bill Gates acknowledged the fact that he had an affair with two Russian women, whom Epstein found later. Gates added in the recording obtained by the WSJ, "I apologize to other people who are drawn into this because of the mistake that I made," and "I did nothing illicit. I saw nothing illicit."

Gates stated further that the redacted photos of him with women in the recently released Epstein files were of him with the late sex offender's assistants, whom he asked to take pictures with. Microsoft's co-founder said, "It was a huge mistake to spend time with Epstein."
Bill Gates added that he met Epstein in 2011, three years after the late sex offender pleaded guilty to the trafficking of minors. However, the billionaire revealed that he kept meeting with Epstein despite warnings from his then-ex-wife, Melinda French Gates, in 2013.
According to Reuters, a spokesperson for the Gates Foundation revealed that Gates held a town hall meeting where he answered all staff's questions regarding his links to the Epstein files.
The spokesperson stated further, "In the town hall, Bill spoke candidly, addressing several questions in detail, and took responsibility for his actions."
