Alstom bid for Algerian power station rejected

Three international firms tendered Monday in Algiers for the implementation and exploitation of a power station in Hadjret Enouss, situated in Tipaza province. The companies were "SNC LAVALIN", a Canadian firm, German "SIEMENS" and French "ALSTOM".  

 

According to APS, the tenders submitted by SNC LAVALIN and SIEMENS were declared acceptable whereas ALSTOM has been rejected.  

 

The two selected companies pledged themselves to take participation estimated at 25 percent of the capital of the company, which production capacity will hits 1200 megawatt during 10 years. (menareport.com)
