Tanya Savchuk (21), originally from Kiev, Ukraine, has been voted June's Face of Wafi winner. Tanya, who has lived in Dubai for just over a year, is a sales executive with a passion for fashion.
Tanya says: "I'm so very pleased to win this award. I noticed the competition when I visited Wafi in June to buy swimsuit, which I found online and the only branch in Dubai stocking it was in Wafi mall.
"With all of the DSS sales, this is a great time for shopping for summer wear and cosmetics. My fashion tip for the summer is to not only to buy what's in style, but also go for anything that looks good on your body. Clothes make me feel happy, so I think this is the most important thing in fashion – feeling good.
"I didn't believe I could win this competition as other glamorous ladies uploaded such cute pictures. But I'm glad to win the vouchers and will enjoy looking around and choosing the best restaurant to dine in - probably Italian or Arabic cuisine.
"I've been living in Dubai for some time now, but anyone who hasn't met me could come to Wafi Mall and feel my presence for the rest of July until next month's winner is announced," she laughs.
Organisers of the Face of Wafi competition are offering Dh1,000 in shopping and dining vouchers every month in the quest to find the UAE's trendiest ladies. Ladies of any age or nationality can post their most fashionable full length picture on the Wafi Mall Facebook wall for the chance to be crowned July's Face of Wafi. Each month's winner is chosen by Wafi management and the only condition is that the entrant should be based in UAE.
Wafi's PR and communications manager, Aser Al Baseer, says: "The number of entries is increasing every month and the standard gives us a tough decision to make. The UAE is full of fashionable women and we look forward to more stylish July entries flooding in."
To enter July's Face of Wafi competition Facebook users should add Wafi Mall as a friend and post their best full length picture onto the wall. There is no rule against repeat entries and UAE-based ladies of any age and nationality are welcome to enter.
