Arab Bank has recently concluded the late Abdul Majeed Shoman Annual Football Championship which took place in the Greater Amman Municipality’s activities building located in Al-Istiqlal Street. The tournament witnessed a great number of participants of employees from the various branches of the Bank across the Kingdom along with their families and friends.

The Real Estate and Construction Division of the Bank won the cup after beating the Corporate and Institutional Banking team in the final match, four goals to two, to win the late Abdul Majeed Shoman Championship trophy.

Mr. Marwan Riyal, Executive Vice President - Human Resources at the Bank, announced the opening of the tournament with a speech in which he stressed the importance of these activities in order to strengthen and promote the relationships between the different departments within the Bank.  He also added that this tournament reaffirms its continued commitment to commemorate the memory of the late Chairman of Arab Bank, Mr. Abdul Majeed Shoman.

At the end of the match, Mr. Abdul Majeed Shoman, Manager/CIB, and the late Chairman’s grandson, awarded medals and trophies to both teams. This match was attended by Ms. Dina Shoman, Executive Vice President – Branding, and Ms. Muna Shoman, Manager/Training and Development Human Resources.
