British Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, are visiting Jordan and Egypt in a 4-day stay. They are the first members of the Royal Family to make such a visit amidst the COVID-19 crisis, Sky News reports.
Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were greeted by Jordan's King Abdullah on Tuesday at Al Husseiniya Palace.
The meeting was also attended by Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein, and Prince Ghazi Bin Muhammad, the country's chief adviser for religious and cultural affairs and personal envoy.
The UK royals also visited the Baptism Site on the River Jordan north of the Dead Sea.
