At least 93 people killed in a blaze that hit a Covid-19 section in an Iraqi hospital. People mourned gravely the victims in the tragic incident and are calling for justice.
The blaze at the Al-Hussein Hospital started from faulty wiring and spread to an oxygen tank, which later exploded to turn into massive flames in the southern city of Nasiriyah.
Furthermore, this is the second of its kind; 82 people were found dead when oxygen tanks blew up at a COVID-19 hospital in Baghdad last April.
Iraqi leader, Barham Salih, slammed both incidents and said they were “the result of endemic corruption and mismanagement that disregards the lives of Iraqis.”
