Protesters across the world have organized rallies calling for 'Climate Justice' during the two-week United Nations Climate Change Conference (CEOP26) in Glasgow, Scotland.
Worldwide protests took place after several meetings, speeches and agreements by world leaders during the COP26 summit, where leaders approved many procedures to face climate change and global warming.
Dozens of demonstrators with the climate action group Extinction Rebellion blocked a bridge near the conference venue, sitting in a line across the road and using locks and metal chains to link themselves together, The Washington Post reported.
Greta Thunberg, an 18-year-old environmental activist, denounced the climate summit as "a failure" at the first of various protest marches throughout the weekend.
