ALBAWABA - A video circulating on social media drew backlash after capturing a Syrian man smoking shisha inside an ambulance vehicle in Damascus, Syria.
According to several reports, the incident reportedly happened near Al-Mouwasat University Hospital in Damascus. The individual who captured the video was heard saying, "Look... this is an ambulance car near Al-Mouwasat University Hospital, and this guy is smoking shisha inside of it."
The individual then panned to the guy smoking shisha, only to find several cups and another passenger sitting inside.

In response to the viral video, Al-Mouwasat University Hospital released a statement saying that neither the ambulance nor the person smoking inside it is linked to the institution.
It stated further that all ambulance vehicles belonging to the hospital park inside the institution's premises and "are used exclusively to carry out their humanitarian duties in serving our people and patients."
According to Guzelo, the Syrian hospital is threatening to take legal action against those involved in spreading malicious rumors. Additionally, the institution accused private parties of tarnishing its reputation by sharing the video across social media.
