ALBAWABA - A video went viral and was described as a "scandal" after Lebanese nurses were caught red-handed terrifying elderly people at Makassed Hospital, in Beirut.
A clip circulated showing a couple of Lebanese nurses making scary voices on speakers to terrify elderlies at the hospital and sneaking into the hallways to scare people while taking a video of their "shame" behaviors.
The management of the Makassed Hospital issued a statement decrying the videos of the Lebanese nurses and vowed to take serious action against the workers who appeared in the footage.
It said: "The management in the Makassed Hospital condemned the shameful behavior which some of the nurses did, which violates the basic standards of their job." Furthermore, it added: "The video also leaves negative points to other nurses who are dedicated to work."
Moreover, the Makassed Hospital management further noted that all the nurses who appeared in the video had taken their punishment and clarified that they were dismissed from their jobs two months ago.
Makassed Hospital in Beirut also issued an apology to the Lebanese nation and vowed to take more strict acts in the face of its workers to avoid such problems in the future.
