ALBAWABA - An Israeli woman named Noya Zion was shocked to hear that she was falsely listed "dead" during the Iran protests on Channel 12.
Zion posted a video on social media debunking the Israeli channel's claims, saying she's at home alive and going to training an hour later. She added that she's never been to Iran in her life and that her photo was broadcast on TV as if she were executed."

According to Israel Hyom, Zion's father took to Facebook, responded to the Channel's error, and wrote, "Maybe she looks like Niv Sultan [actress starring on 'Tehran'], maybe Niv Sultan looks like her."
He stated further, "Peace to both. In any case, our Noya wasn't in Tehran last week... Never mind the troll on Facebook with hundreds of thousands of followers; there are partners in the trolling. Channel 12, a channel of fools."
Additionally, X (formerly Twitter) was flooded with reposts of the video, sparking a debate and speculations regarding the channel's authenticity on the platform.
An X user wrote, "When your media declares someone “dead” and the person has to show up on camera saying “I’m alive,” that’s not journalism that’s propaganda."
Another wrote, "I’d just run with it. Then when the tax man comes, you didn’t hear the news, I’m dead."
