Egyptian authorities received a report of a girl falling from the 26th floor of a hotel in the Zamalek area, and she was pronounced dead immediately.
Investigations revealed that the girl worked as an employee in the hotel, was 22 years old, and held a bachelor's degree in tourism and hotels.
A circulated video revealed the details of the incident, showing the girl sitting on the edge of the floor, talking to hotel staff who were trying to rescue her by pulling her up with a rope.
In the video, the girl uttered words in English and others that were unintelligible. She clung to the rope but eventually fell and lost her life.
