ALBAWABA - The US Department of State’s Rewards for Justice is offering up to $15 million as a reward for information about individuals supporting Iran's IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), naming several Chinese nationals as the target.
This comes in hopes of putting a stop to IRGC's financial mechanisms and its various branches including the IRGC-Qods Force. The article published on the US Department of State's official website claims that the IRGC had a hand in funding "terrorist" organizations such as Gaza's Hamas, Lebanon's Hezbollah, and Iran-backed military groups in Iraq by providing them with military equipment.

The article further claims that the named Chinese nationals allegedly supported the IRGC by sending Iran, US export-controlled dual-use technology since 2007.
According to the US Department of State, Chinese national Emily Liu was accused of utilizing companies in China to send dual-used US-origin electronic components to companies linked to IRGC by providing them with components that could be used to produce UAVs, ballistic missile systems, and other military equipment.
Back in January 2024, the US Department of Justice charged Liu and three other Chinese nationals Emma Lee, Stephen Yung, and Sydney Chung with several federal charges due to their alleged involvement with the delivery of components mentioned above.
Rewards for Justice's official account on Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) also urged users interested in the reward to contact them today if information is available.
It wrote, "These individuals illegally export U.S. high-tech parts to Iran which are used to build military armaments. Sales of these weapons help fund terrorism by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Force (IRGC)."
