ALBAWABA - A satirical website called for the enlistment of US President Donald Trump's youngest son, 19-year-old Barron Trump, in the US military, amid the US and Israeli strikes on Iran.
A website, DraftBarronTrump.com, was launched by former "South Park" writer Toby Morton in a move that mocks Donald Trump's call to send his youngest son to war.
The site cites Barron's "courage" and "proven genes" as justifications for deploying him, while also displaying photos of him sleeping.
Some social media users mocked the campaign and said that Donald Trump wants to appoint his son as the coming Supreme Leader of Iran, replacing Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a joint operation by Israel and the US on Saturday, Feb. 28.
According to Euronews, the hashtag #SendBarron trended on social media platforms in recent hours.
The website's subtitle reads: "America is strong because its leaders are strong, and President Trump proves it every day. Naturally, his son Barron is more than ready to defend the country his father leads so boldly." The site concludes, "Service is an honor, strength is inherited. God bless Barron."
The website describes itself as "dedicated to honoring the strongest and bravest voices in war," and includes satirical testimonials, among them one from his brother, Donald Trump Jr., who wrote: "This moment really is about Barron, okay? It always has been. He represents strength, courage, and service. I will honor this sacrifice in my own way, probably by speaking about it from a safe distance."
