ALBAWABA - U.S. defense and intelligence agencies are investigating the leak of Pentagon papers showing Israeli military plans for Iran.

According to reports, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency released sensitive materials designed for distribution inside the "Five Eyes" intelligence cooperation, which comprises the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.

The pro-Iranian Telegram and X (previously Twitter) account "Middle East Spectator," has released these crucial materials.

Recent activity at Israeli Air Force facilities include moving weapons for an Iran attack, according to the papers. U.S. intelligence reports that the Israeli Air Force conducted substantial intelligence and fighter aircraft training operations this week in preparation of an attack. Israeli drone teams are also preparing for the operation.

CNN reports that U.S. authorities are probing whether the leak was intentional or an Iranian intelligence compromise. This has unintentionally cast doubt on the leaked material.

The leak's origins is unknown, raising numerous important issues. How will this disclosure affect Israel's reaction time and nature? Will Israel change its strike timeline, as President Biden has said?
