ALBAWABA - Princess Kate Middleton made her symbolic return to royal responsibilities after chemotherapy by attending the annual Remembrance Day service in London, her second public appearance in as many days.

"On Sunday, we gather to honor the bravery and sacrifices of those who have served and continue to serve in our armed forces," said a statement posted on Platform X by the Prince and Princess of Wales' official account this past weekend. Let's stop, think, and never forget them. In case we forget.

Wearing a black hat and a coat decorated with poppies, a customary gesture of respect for dead troops, Kate was seen watching the mournful service from the balcony of a government building. At the World War I monument in central London, King Charles and other royal family members laid wreaths with government representatives.

The Princess of Wales also made an appearance at a celebration honoring military sacrifices on Saturday at the Royal Albert Hall. She said in September that she had finished a round of chemotherapy last month and that her recuperation will be continuous.

Kate's final public appearance before these events took place in October, when she visited with the families of three young girls who had sadly died in violence in northwest England.

Every year on the Sunday closest to November 11, the Remembrance Day ceremony is conducted to commemorate the conclusion of World War I and the lives lost in the line of duty.
