ALBAWABA - An Iraqi TikTokers were injured after being the target of a gunman who opened fire as they were returning home from work, AlArabiya reported on Monday.
Tiktoker Hussein and his wife, Shahinda, were subjected to an assassination attempt by shooting in the capital, Baghdad days after the couple received death threats.
Iraqi media were buzzed with the assassination attempt of the very famous TikTokers. Hussein was hit with six bullets while his wife was targeted with three, as a result of which she lost one of her eyes.
Furthermore, the Iraqi Tiktoker told AlArabiya that he usually receives many death threats during live chat on the Chinese platform, but he didn't care.
However, he was very upset once after he got a message from an unknown person: "Leave Baghdad and you will be killed."
Despite the threats, the Iraqi Tiktokers did not care that much, because they did not have any enmity.
In addition, the Iraqi Tiktokers called on the authorities to arrest and punish the attackers.
