ALBAWABA - Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, may have been disfigured as a result of recent strikes, according to U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

At a news conference on Friday, Hegseth said that the United States is stepping up its military actions against Iran, threatening to launch an unprecedented number of strikes on Tehran.

He clarified that in order to hit their targets more precisely, American fighter fighters and bombers are conducting strikes based on enhanced intelligence capabilities.

The U.S. official also stated that the campaign's goal is to destroy Iran's military capabilities, asserting that the nation no longer has missile launch platforms, naval might, or effective air defense systems.

According to Hegseth, Washington is carrying out a plan to demolish Iran's missile production facilities and defense industry in order to prevent Tehran from producing new missiles once its existing arsenal is destroyed.

He said that the U.S. military is using cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to improve operational efficacy and degrade its enemies.

In a related development, Hegseth affirmed that the United States had lost an aerial refueling aircraft in western Iraq, emphasizing that neither friendly nor hostile fire was to blame.
