In a recent social media post, Maya Sherman contended that the Israeli army's investigation, which confirmed her son's demise, points the blame away from Hamas. Drawing grim parallels to historical atrocities, she emphasized intentional murder and a bombardment with poisonous gases, distancing her son's fate from both Nazis and Hamas.
Maya asserted that her son's abduction resulted from the alleged negligence of the 'accursed' government and high-ranking Israeli military officials. Notably, Ron was found with a few broken fingers, which Maya speculated may have occurred during a desperate struggle to escape what she describes as the 'poisonous grave' orchestrated by the Israeli army.
Challenging the authorities, Maya questioned whether the children of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi, or Defense Minister Yoav Gallant would face a similar fate with gas bombs.
