ALBAWABA - A 70-year-old woman has gone viral on social media after a video captured her driving onto a railway track in Seattle, Washington State, on Tuesday evening.

The rare incident near Mount Baker Station forced emergency services to shut down the line to safely tow the vehicle and escort its driver. According to Guessing Headlights, citing the transit company, the car halted all trains for several hours. However, reports indicate that no incidents occurred. By 9 p.m., the line was reopened, and trains returned to operating as normal.

Witnesses claimed that the unidentified 70-year-old woman told them she was following directions from her GPS, despite the visible roadway signs placed across public streets. The unusual incident drew reactions on social media, with many users pointing out the dangers of following directions without focusing.

A social media user wrote, "God forbid she’s driving on a bridge and her GPS says 'turn left.'"

Another added on X (formerly Twitter), "She obviously has no common sense  and possibly should be sent back to be retested for her drivers license. Or at least for a physical exam to see if she’s cognitively fit to drive."
