ALBAWABA - A new video is flooding social media, capturing a woman who reportedly looks similar to Ghislaine Maxwell, the wife of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, in Quebec, Canada.

The video sparked debate and speculation, with many users stressing that deepfake technology was allegedly used to make the woman in the clip look similar to Maxwell. Other users claimed that the man next to Maxwell's doppelganger looked like her brother Philip Maxwell.

A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Please do not tell me Ghislaine Maxwell is out here with her brother living her best life. We are truly in the last days."

Another added, "Wow - so we have now seen two people that look exactly like Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein. Certainly makes one wonder if they are in fact out and about walking free and if Jeffery is actually alive."

The viral video in question captured a man filming as he approached a woman and said, "Ghislaine?" to which she replied, "No, sorry." Before she walked away, the man added, "She used to hook me up with pizza," a reference to a keyword used in the Epstein files.

By the time of reporting, there's still no proof that the woman in question is Maxwell, with many stating that AI and deepfake technology might have been used to create a viral clip.

During the most recent House Oversight Committee virtual deposition, Maxwell refused to answer any questions regarding the Epstein files and kept on invoking her "Fifth Amendment right to silence."

According to US reports, Ghislaine Maxwell is still in prison, serving her 20-year sentence at Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Texas due to her role in the sexual abuse and trafficking of minors with her partner Jeffrey Epstein.

On the contrary, Epstein committed suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting his trial on his federal sex-trafficking charges.
