Police in Egypt have arrested seven men on suspicion of sexually assaulting women at inaugural celebrations for President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, AFP reported Egyptian officials as saying Monday.
Graphic footage from a video, widely shared on social media, shows a group of men at Cairo's Tahrir Square surrounding a bruised woman whose clothes were torn off.
According to AFP, Egyptian security officials authenticated the recording and said police had detained seven men aged for attacking the 19-year-old student.
