Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh termed Monday, Yemeni-Saudi relations as excellent and continuously developing. The Yemeni leader also noted that the recent visit to Yemen by Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud al Faisal was within the framework of bilateral consultation and coordination between Sanaa and Riyadh on various matters of interest to the Arab and Islamic nation.
In an interview published Monday in the Yemeni weekly al Nass, the President added that al Faisal had briefed him about the activities of the Arab follow up committee, which was created by the recent Arab Beirut summit.
The committee met at the Arab league premises in Cairo last week to discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian territories as well as the participation of some of the committee's members in the international quartet meeting, which is to convene in New York on Tuesday. (Albawaba.com)
