ALBAWABA - Rocket fragments fell in one of the residential areas of Al Jahra in Kuwait. A video was captured on social media.
Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity announced early Tuesday morning that seven overhead power lines were taken out of service due to damage caused by falling debris from missiles.
Ministry spokesperson Fatima Hayat confirmed a "partial power outage in some areas" of the country as a result of damage to power lines.
Hayat explained that "work is underway to restore power, and specialized technical teams will begin their work as soon as the sites are secured to assess the damage, in preparation for repairing the affected lines."
