ALBAWABA- Mohammed Abdul Salam, the spokesperson for the Houthi group and head of the negotiating committee, criticized the actions of an American warship in the Red Sea.

According to Abdul Salam, the incident occurred as a Yemeni naval forces reconnaissance plane conducted operations.

The American warship reportedly opened fire aggressively and without justification, causing heightened tension. Notably, one of the missiles exploded near a ship from the Republic of Gabon, en route from Russian ports.

Abdul Salam emphasized the dangers posed to international maritime navigation due to the militarization of the Red Sea by the U.S. and its partners.

He accused them of contributing to the region's instability by aligning with the Israeli enemy entity.
