United States Secretary of Trade, Don Evans, is to visit the North African country of Morocco on November 11, US diplomatic sources in Rabat said.
In the course of his visit, the US Trade Secretary is expected to discuss with Moroccan officials, trade relations between both countries, according to Maghreb Arabe Presse.
Rabat and Washington announced last April a decision to conclude a free trade agreement, MAP added. Earlier this month, US trade representative, Robert Zoellick officially notified congress that free-trade negotiations between Morocco and the US are scheduled to begin this year. (Albawaba.com)
