ALBAWABA - Due to President Joe Biden's incapacity to carry out his presidential responsibilities, Republican Congressman Chip Roy has revealed that he is drafting a resolution encouraging Vice President Kamala Harris to use the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution to remove Biden from office.

Roy stressed in a statement posted on the social networking site X that Biden ought to be removed from office because he was unable to "successfully carry out the duties and responsibilities of the presidency."

Roy encouraged Harris to make use of her constitutional power, saying, "I am considering introducing a resolution that calls on the Vice President to immediately invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, asserting that the President (Biden) is incapable of performing his duties and therefore should transfer his responsibilities to the Vice President."

Should the resolution be put to a vote and approved by the House of Representatives, which is controlled by Republicans, Harris would have 24 hours to reply to Congress on her choice to remove Biden from office.

If the President is judged incapable of carrying out his or her responsibilities, the Vice President may temporarily take over those responsibilities under the terms of the 25th Amendment to the United States Constitution. A majority of the Cabinet must accept the Vice President's evaluation and the decision to remove the President in order for the change to be put into effect.
