US and UK airstrikes hit Hodeida port area in Yemen

These airstrikes are purportedly in response to a Houthi strike against US-UK ships in the Red and Arabian seas.

ALBAWABA- Reports indicate that US and British airstrikes targeted positions in the al-Kathib area near Hodeida port, located in western Yemen. The strikes are believed to have hit possible Houthi targets within Hodeida city. 

According to Houthi media sources, the American-British aggression renewed bombing in the Dune area of Hodeida Governorate with two raids, resulting in explosions heard across the sea city of Hodeidah. 

These airstrikes are purportedly in response to a Houthi strike against US-UK ships in the Red and Arabian seas. 

The situation has led to the blockade of ships bound for Israel due to the siege in Gaza.
