ALBAWABA - The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas in Gaza, released an audio recording of an Israeli captive held by the Brigades. The recording contained several messages addressed to the Israeli public.
For an unknown reason, the editing team of the Qassam Brigades concealed the captive's name at the beginning of the recording, making her an unidentified captive. She then posed several direct questions to the Israeli public, not addressing the Israeli government or the war cabinet, indicating her despair with the government and its decisions, which have resulted in the deaths of many Israeli captives held by Hamas due to indiscriminate targeting and direct bombing.
In her message, she said: "I am the captive ...... in the Qassam prison. I have been in captivity for 237 days, and I ask the people of Israel, have you become members of the Netanyahu, Galant, and Gantz government? Has my fate and the fate of my fellow captives become like that of Ron Arad? Thousands of men and women should take to the streets of Tel Aviv and not return home until we return home. Do not leave our fate in the hands of Netanyahu and the war council. Save us. Time is running out. The people must decide. We do not want to die."
