UAE Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum held talks on Monday in Dubai with the senior Arab defense officials who are participating in the 7th International Aerospace Exhibition, Dubai 2001.
Sheikh Mohammad, the crown prince of Dubai, met on the sidelines of the air show with Defense Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh of Sudan and Leonid Maltseyev of Belarus, said the UAE’s official news agency (WAM).
Malseyev was quoted by the agency as saying that his visit to the UAE would open up a “new horizons for joint cooperation.”
Sheikh Mohammad also received Arab chiefs of staff
Khamis bin Humaid Al Kalbani of Oman, Mohammed Yousuf Al Malkawi of Jordan and Mohamed Ali Al Qasimi of Yemen.
The UAE leader also met Brigadier Jebril Al Kadiki, commander of the Libyan air force.
The Arab and foreign military commanders conveyed greetings from their leaders to Sheikh Mohammad.
“They also praised the good organization of the event and thanked the organizers for the warm reception and hospitality,” said the agency – Albawaba.com
