Two Palestinian civilians were wounded on Monday, when Israeli forces opened intensive fire at them in al-Fawwar Refugee Camp of Hebron, witnesses and medical sources said.
Medics at Hebron Hospital said that Mohammed al-Teety, 18, and Medhat al-Najjar 18, were critically wounded with live gunshots. Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli soldiers, stationed at a nearby military checkpoint, intentionally shot two civilians while walking in the street.
Elsewhere, Israeli troops wounded another in Tel-al Sultan refugee camp of Rafah City, medical sources reported. Medics said that Yossef Abu Kashan, 42, was shot and wounded in the shoulder when Israeli soldiers opened heavy machine gunfire towards Palestinian houses.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Monday he would form a new coalition "on the same day," if the current government refused to approve his plan for a Gaza Strip withdrawal.
"If the parties leave the coalition, on the same day I will form a new government," Sharon's spokesman, Assaf Shariv, quoted the Israeli leader as saying. "There is no way I will go to an election."
