Syrian ruling party, Algerian party sign deal

Syria's Al-Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP) and the Algerian Renaissance Party (ARP) on Monday signed a cooperation agreement.

 

Member of the National leadership of the (BASP) Mohammed Saleh al-Hirmasi and Secretary General of the (ARP) Yazid Bin Ayshah inked the accord.

 

According to Syrian press reports, the agreement aimed at activating cooperation between the two parties and their actions in "boosting relations between the two nations." According to a joint statement, this deal "is to serve interests of the Arab nation and its causes to restore rights and the occupied lands as well as to keep the Arab Nation development."
