Syrian Industry Minister Issam al Zaeem met in Ankara Tuesday with Turkish counterpart Ali Jushkon.
Later on, he held meetings with officials from the Chambers Union, Turkish businessmen and industrial figures in Ankara and Istanbul, according to SANA news agency.
During the meetings, talks focused on various issues including cooperation among specialized institutions, which support technology in the industrial sector.
The Syrian Minister, SANA added, emphasized the importance of cooperation between Syria and Turkey in the field of standards and specifications institutions.
Moreover, the Turkish and Syrian sides stressed that viewpoints were identical towards joint efforts to reach an agreement encouraging industries in addition to exchanging experiences in all sectors. (Albawaba.com)
