Lebanon's security services should be "very vigilant" after a wave of violence in the country, Syrian Foreign Minister Faruq al-Shara said in comments published Saturday.
"We don't have to be pessimistic, but ... (Lebanese) security services should be very vigilant," he told al-Hayat. The daily had asked him to comment on the security situation in Lebanon. "There is a lot of unknown in this period, there are many points of convergence between different interests ... We in Syria are very vigilant," al-Shara said, without elaborating. (Albawaba.com)
