Sudanese official concludes UAE visit

Sudan’s Minister of Guidance and Endowments, Dr. Esam Ahmed Al Bashir left Abu Dhabi Wednesday following a three-day visit during which he held talks with officials at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf on means of boosting cooperation between the UAE and Sudan in the Islamic field.  

 

The Minister was seen off at the airport by Ahmed bin Mubarak al Kindi, Assistant Under Secretary for Mosques at the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs, and Mohi Eldin Salim, Sudan's Ambassador in Abu Dhabi, according to WAM news agency.  

 

Upon his departure, the Sudanese Minister said his talks with officials in Abu Dhabi were based on “the close ties linking both countries, thanks to the support by President H.H Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and President Omer Hassan Al Bashir”. (Albawaba.com)
