Sri Lankan President Chandrika Kumaratunga has invited Qatar’s emir, Sheikh Hamad Al Thani, to visit Colombo, reported the Gulf Times.
The invitation was presented to the emir by Sri Lankan Ambassador Meerasahib Mahroof, said the paper.
It added that the ambassador expressed his wish to strengthen ties between the two countries in various fields – Albawaba.com
