Sahara Centre announced the launch of its “Sharjah Spring Promotions 2006” – a month-long annual festivity that kicked off on the 3rd of January that promises unique and exciting prizes, entertainment, events and countless surprises.
Unveiled with this announcement was Sahara Centre’s latest ‘Shop and Win’ promotion that gives mall shoppers chances to win fantastic prizes.
In this one-of-a-kind event, two lucky women will win shopping sprees worth Dhs 100,000, to be divided equally, one winner each draw in two raffles exclusive for women only. “We at Sahara Centre would like to reward our female customers who have been remarkably loyal to the mall. And because they have been very generous in shopping at our stores, we will reward them just as generously with two prizes of magnificent shopping sprees and a chance to take home a Hummer H3.” said Dean John, General Manager of Sahara Centre.
But Dean John was quick to reassure male shoppers that they have a chance to win and drive away the latest Hummer H3. The highly sought-after vehicle will be given away in separate draws on Thursday the 19th of January and the 3rd of February, together with the shopping spree draw.
Heaps of instant prizes from different ‘scratch and win’ coupons are up for grabs as well; sponsored by Al Jaber Optical, Adventureland, Bowling City, Marina, Beauty Court, McDonald’s, Galileo Optics, Alesayi, London Lady and Al Arabiya Al Swissriya.
Already a major crowd drawer at Sahara Centre is the innovative Pirates Village, which offers younger visitors the thrill of fun games, entertaining shows, interactive workshops and animated characters. Families can visit the Pirates’ Village and enjoy the daily shows from 6 to 9 pm.
“Being the leading destination for shopping and entertainment, we cannot overlook our younger guests. Since the beginning of this month, the Pirates Village has been full to the brim with children enjoying a variety of activities such as wall-climbing, pont de singe game, rappelling, kids karaoke and dancing shows, interactive workshops, pirates story-telling and meeting mascots and animators in costumes,” added Dean John.
One of Sahara Centre’s younger visitors, Yazan Kaylani (age 7), was excited to finally have the chance to visit the Village. “All my friends at school keep talking about the Pirates Village and how much they enjoyed the singing and wall-climbing especially. This is why I kept asking my mother to bring me here and I am happy she finally did and will keep asking her to bring me back.”
The Sharjah Spring Promotion 2006 will also witness the selection of Sahara’s Goodwill Ambassadors. These ambassadors, who will be chosen from students in Sharjah, will have the opportunity of a lifetime as the official youth representatives of Sahara Centre. Exciting prizes, media exposure, and memorable experiences await the chosen ambassadors.
“Spring is a time of celebration and the Sharjah Spring Promotions 2006 is our way of celebrating this fun festive period with families at our mall,” ended Dean John.
