Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa is due to begin an official visit to Turkey by the middle of this month, an official Turkish source told the Kuwait News Agency Sunday.
He said the Syrian Foreign Minister’s visit comes within the framework of preparations for the upcoming visit planned by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to Turkey, one that has been put off already more than once.
He added the visit of the Syrian Foreign Minister would take place between January 13-15. According to him, talks are especially due to focus on promotion of bilateral cooperation in the economic and security fields. (Albawaba.com)
