In Turkey, an earthquake measuring 4.3 points on the open-ended Richter scale rocked a region north of Ankara early on Wednesday, but there were no reports of casualties or damage, the Anatolia news agency said.

The epicenter of the quake was in the province of Cankiri, in the sparsely-populated Eskipazar region, the agency said, quoting the Istanbul seismological institute. The tremor was felt both in the capital and at Zonguldak, on the Black Sea coast, the institute said. (Albawaba.com)
