Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council met on Monday with the Palestinian Ambassador. Tahnoun was briefed by the Ambassador, on the recent developments in the Palestinian territories and the suffering of the Palestinians due to Israel's repressive policies, according to Emirates News Agency.
For his part, Sheikh Tahnoun restated the UAE's support for the struggle of the Palestinian people towards establishing their own independent state. In return, Khalid Malak thanked Sheikh Tahnoun for the UAE's strong backing of the Palestinian cause. (Albawaba.com)
