World championship leader Michael Schumacher of Germany crashed out of the Austrian Grand Prix Sunday after a collision on the first corner.
The Ferrari driver collided with Jordan's Jarno Trulli of Italy, with compatriot Giancarlo Fisichella of Benetton also involved in the incident and having to retire from the 71-lap race.
After the intervention of a security car on the second lap, the race continued with Finland's Mika Hakkinen leading ahead of McLaren teammate David Coulthard – (AFP)
