A Saudi Security official was quoted as saying on Monday that initial investigations with a group of "terrorists" arrested in the kingdom indicated that they used funds from charities in commercial centers, mosques, universities, schools and streets.
Director of Public Relations in the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Saud Al-Musaibeih told Al-Watan daily that large amounts of money were found with those "terrorists" during arrests. According to him, those amounts were taken from charity funds, which were not supervised by the state.
