Qaralleh Presents Credentials to the UNRWA

According to PETRA, head of Jordan's diplomatic mission to the Palestinian National Authority Yahia Qaralleh presented his credentials to the Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Karine Abu Zeid, as a representative of the Jordanian government to UNRWA.
Abu Zeid, who met Qaralleh on Monday praised Jordan's supportive role to the UNRWA and the services it provides to Palestinian refugees.
Qaralleh for his part affirmed Jordan's continued support to UNRWA and its appreciation to its activities. He expressed hope that the international community would continue its support to the agency to enable it to continue its work in the best manner until a solution is found to the issue of Palestinian refugees in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.
Qaralleh hailed the tremendous and continued efforts of the UNRWA commissioner general and the responsibilities shouldered by her within the UNRWA's activities.
