Fifteen people, 11 of them soldiers, have been killed in two separate attacks blamed on Islamic extremists, press reports said on Thursday.
The attacks took place on Wednesday to the east and south of the capital Algiers, two newspapers said.
More than 100,000 people have died in Algeria since Islamic militants took up arms in 1992 after the army called off the second round of elections that the Islamic Salvation Front was poised to win -- ALGERS (AFP)
